Zac began his building career three decades ago in the United Kingdom with an apprenticeship in traditional timber framing, becoming an accomplished carpenter while gaining knowledge across a broad spectrum of construction disciplines. Zac co-owned a successful construction company in the UK before becoming a licensed California contractor in 1998. With a strong and ethical construction management style and extensive experience, Zac brought his skills to Earthtone in 2005. Zac believes in building community as well as creating a sustainable, practical, and mindful construction firm. His is actively involved in his community as a public school board member and is a member of the Sonoma County planning commission.
