A First in Rammed Earth Block Building
With infrastructure already well underway on this 200-acre property, Earthtone was brought on board to construct the home, which is the first to utilize the Rammed Earth Block developed by David Easton, the well-known pioneer of structures that use earth and cement. The house boasts many sustainable features, including second floor straw bale walls, a living roof, natural plaster, and a substantial amount of lumber selectively milled from the site. We were proud to collaborate with Arkin Tilt on this project.
